Whoa! Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan to re-unite after a decade with Bharat?

We really hope this one falls in place

After wrapping up the third season of her ABC thriller, Quantico, Priyanka Chopra returned to Mumbai yesterday and she has drowned herself in potential scripts she will take up next here in India. In her latest Instagram story, Priyanka shared a picture of her table that has probably more than six scripts lying around. The caption on the photo read, “Which one will it be? Homework.” While we are dying to know which one it will be, recent reports suggest that Priyanka has finalised her next Bollywood project, and it is with Salman Khan. According to a report in DNA, the actress has come on-board for Salman’s upcoming film, Bharat, which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who last directed Salman and Katrina Kaif in Tiger Zinda Hai. If this happens, Priyanka and Salman will re-unite on the big screen after almost a decade. Their last film together was God Tussi Great Ho, which released in 2008.

“Priyanka has also worked with Ali in Gunday (2014) and shares a good rapport with him. This film will see the three of them collaborate for the first time,” a source was quoted by the daily. The report further suggests that Ali met Priyanka in New York recently, where she was shooting for Quantico.

However, there has been no official confirmation, neither by Priyanka nor by Salman and Ali on this one yet. We really hope this one turns out to be true. It will be a major casting coup, there are no two ways about it. Bharat is expected go on floors by mid-2018. Ali is currently in London where he is scouting for locations to shoot the film.

By now we all know that Salman will sport five different looks over a span of 70 years starting with the 1940s in Bharat. A report in Mumbai Mirror last month stated that Ali will soon be starting the look tests with Salman after the latter comes back from Abu Dhabi, where he is shooting for the final schedule of his other upcoming film, Race 3.
