What does Tiger Zinda Hai’s success mean for Salman Khan’s Race 3 and Bharat?
Do you think TZH’s record-breaking business will help Salman Khan’s Race 3 and Bharat at the box office?
After the surprising and disappointing debacle of Tubelight, Salman Khan made a great comeback with Tiger Zinda Hai. The espionage thriller didn’t only shatter many box office records but also became Salman Khan’s biggest grosser of all time. With the whopping collections of Rs 338 crore, Tiger Zinda Hai is currently the fourth highest grosser of all time after Baahubali 2, Dangal and PK. But do you think TZH’s record-breaking business will help Salman Khan’s Race 3 and Bharat at the box office? Here’s our opinion…
Talking about Race 3, the third installment of Race franchise is expected to be grander than its previous two parts. With high-octane stunts and breath-taking action sequences, we are sure the stylish action-thriller will be a visual treat for all Salman Khan and not to forget his swag, which will attract his fans in the cinema halls. The film will release during the festive weekend of Eid, which will give Race 3 a huge advantage just like it benefitted Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. With good-will of successful franchise and star-power of Salman Khan, Race 3 will definitely be the next Rs 300 crore club film after Tiger Zinda Hai at the box office. The film is directed by ace choreographer Remo D’Souza and also features Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Bharat which is the remake of a Korean film An Ode to my Father can turn out to be a big risk-taking venture for Salman Khan. In this emotional journey film, Salman will portray the character right from 18 to 80-year old age. Honestly, we are scared that Bharat might turn out to be other Tubelight by considering its plot. But since the film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously helmed Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, we are expecting some entertaining element in this emotional drama flick. Produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, Bharat will hit the screens during Eid 2019.
