The trailer of ‘The Zoya Factor’ featuring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and South superstar Dulquer is finally out. “The Zoya Factor” is a romantic drama film starring Sonam and Dulquer Salmaan with Sanjay Kapoor and Angad Bedi. It is directed by Abhishek Sharma and is slated to open on 20th September, 2019. The story revolves around Zoya Solanki (Sonam Kapoor) who is an executive in an advertising agency. She ends up becoming a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Nikhil Khoda(Dulquer) play the Indian cricket captain and Zoya’s love interest.

Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in The Zoya Factor next which will be his second film in Bollywood. Having worked in Malayalam films playing the lead actor, Dulquer says he doesn’t mind acting in films which would have female protagonists. “If I find challenging and interesting characters with female protagonists, I will be a part of such films. I get enough opportunities where I can lead a film, so when you choose films where you aren’t, it all eventually balances out,” Dulquer Salmaan was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle. The Karwaan actor also says that it’s eventually good cinema he wants to be part of. “I strongly believe in good cinema, and have a decent understanding of cinema. I have always chosen films that I want to watch,” added Dulquer.

Dulquer will be seen playing cricketer in The Zoya Factor which has Sonam Kapoor playing the titular role. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is based on the book The Zoya Factor by Anuja Chauhan. The trailer of the film was released recently and it promises to be a proper entertainer. The trailer begins with Zoya’s birth on the day Indian Cricket Team won the world cup in 1983. Zoya isn’t lucky since her childhood and is rather unlucky both on professional and personal fronts. This is her life until the day she meets the Indian cricket team and its captain- Dulquer Salmaan. With Zoya Solanki by the team’s side, the Indian team wins every possible match.

The Zoya Factor is produced by Fox Star Studios and is slated to be released on 20 September. The music of the film is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and has cinematography by Manoj Lobo.
