Shah Rukh Khan & Big B’s Reaction On Sridevi’s Death Will Make You Emotional

Her fans from different parts of the country and Bollywood celebs were gathered to pay homage to the evergreen actress.

After a lot of delays, the whole world bid adieu to the superstar actress Sridevi. After the sudden demise in Dubai and difficulties faced by the family to bring her mortal remains home, Sridevi received a state of honour and a grand tribute yesterday.

The last journey of Sridevi was a heart-breaking sight for all of us. Her fans from different parts of the country and Bollywood celebs were gathered to pay homage to the evergreen actress.

Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Rani Mukerji, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Mika Singh, Suneil Shetty, Ishaan Khatter, Rohit Shetty and many others were present at the funeral ceremony. After the last rites were performed, Big B and SRK wrote about the late actress on Twitter.

Just like us, the untimely demise of Sridevi has left the celebs too in deep shock. For the first time after the demise, SRK tweeted about the actress. His message will leave you emotional. He wrote, “How can one not just feel love & beauty & be grateful for a life that became a part of yours in some small way by making it prettier….isn’t it just easier to feel love & give towards that life, even in death…the comfort of appreciation and gratitude.”

Not only Shah Rukh, but also Amitabh Bachchan dedicated Javed Akhtar’s poem for Sridevi. He wrote, “रहने को सदा देहर में आता नहीं कोई तुम जैसे गये ऐसे भी जाता नहीं कोई”~ कैफ़ि आज़मी. देहर – means .. the world. Javed Akhtar narrated this sher to me at the funeral of Sridevi .. said it was written at the time of Guru Dutt demise; but so appropriate for today ..”

This is so heartbreaking! Rest in peace, Sridevi ji.
