Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai becomes the third fastest entrant to Rs 300 crore club after Baahubali 2 and Dangal

Director Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai continues to set the new benchmark at the domestic box office. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer film entered the Rs 300 crore club in just 16 days. With this feat, the espionage thriller has become the third fastest entrant to this club after Baahubali 2 and Dangal. While Baahubali 2 took 10 days, Dangal made it to the Rs 300 crore club in just 13 days. Tiger Zinda Hai also became Salman Khan’s fastest entrant to this club beating his previous films Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan entered the Rs 300 crore club in 20 days, Sultan consumed 35 long days to achieve this feat.
Tiger Zinda Hai currently stands with the grand total of Rs 308 crore and since there is no release now, the film will dominate the box office. The film is expected to beat the lifetime business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320.34 crore) to become the highest grosser of Salman Khan. The film has also crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office and currently holds the seventh position after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Dangal, PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Dhoom 3 in the list of top worldwide grossers of all time.
Tiger Zinda Hai marks the second collaboration between director Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan after Sultan and interestingly, both the films have crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. The film also stars Sajjad Delafrooz, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Paresh Rawal and Girish Karnad in key roles. The film is produced under the reputed banner of Yash Raj Films.
