In a new quirky video, Salman Khan announced that he will be promoting Dabangg 3 in his Chulbul Pandey avatar. Dabangg 3 is scheduled to hit screens on December 20 this year.

The shooting of Salman Khan’s next film Dabangg 3 is complete and the actor is currently gearing up for the promotions of the film, which is hitting screens on December 20 this year. But this time, the Bharat actor will not be promoting his film. Surprised? Don’t be. Chulbul Pandey will be promoting his own film this time. The actor took to social media to make the announcement.

In a quirky video, in which Salman Khan is seen in his Chulbul Pandey avatar, the actor reveals that the handsome police inspector will promote the film till the release of the film. He said, “Baat karte ho Pandeyji, Jab Chulbul Pandey se judey hai poore India ke emotions, toh Salman Khan kyun karenge Dabangg ke promotions? Picture humari, poster humara, toh promote bhi toh hum hi karenge na. Aaj se lekar 20 December tak aur uske baad bhi swaagat toh karo humara.”

The teaser of Dabangg 3 will be dropped along with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War. Reports suggest that the teaser will be of 90 seconds. War is hitting the screens on October 2. While the teaser will be released on Gandhi Jayanti, the trailer of Dabangg 3 will be released on Diwali. According to reports, the trailer of the film will be attached to Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4.

Recently, anticipating fans curiosity for the poster, Salman Khan took to social media to release the motion poster of Dabangg 3. Asking for a fabulous welcome from his fans, he wrote, “Aa Rahe Hain! Chulbul Robinhood Pandey. Theek 100 din baad. Swagat Toh Karo Humara! #100DaystoDabangg3 (sic)”

And to no one’s surprise Bhai’s fans declared the film a blockbuster.

The third film in the Dabangg series is directed by Prabhudheva. The first film was directed by Anurag Kashyap’s brother Abhinav Kashyap, while Dabangg 2 was directed by Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan.

Dabangg 3 will see Sonakshi Sinha reprising her role of Rajjo. Dabangg 3 will see a new face in Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar. Salman Khan was seen with the debutante at the recently held IIFA awards.

The film has two parallel tracks – one set in the present day and the other tracing Chulbul Pandey’s past, and fans are excited to see Salman Khan back on the 70 mm as Chulbul Pandey. The film will be released in four Indian languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malyalam.
