Salman Khan to cast Aayush Sharma in a Marathi remake
The original, starring Om Bhutkar in the lead and Mahesh Manjrekar in an interesting role revolved around farmers, who having lost their lands, turning to petty crimes due to frustration and poverty.
Mumbai: After giving him a break in Bollywood with LoveYatri, Salman Khan is all set to do a Hindi remake of a Marathi film with his brother-in-law.
If news sources are to be believed, Salman’s production house has acquired the rights of Mulshi Pattern, which released in November this year.
The crime drama will see Aayush Sharma in a serious avatar performing action and stunts, which is contradictory to the role he played in his last. Salman apparently had a meeting with Aayush at his office earlier this week. While the male lead is finalised, hunt is on for the female lead and a director. The film is slated to go on the floor by mid-2019.
