The first in a trilogy, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra has been making headlines ever since it was announced. The film brings together Bollywood’s three supremely talented stars – Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. As the excitement is only increasing around the film, we now have a big update for you on film’s release date. Just today, makers of Brahmastra announced that the first part of the trilogy will be hitting the screens on Christmas 2019. This means we have to wait for another year to see Ranbir and Alia’s chemistry on the big screen. The film was earlier slated to release in August next year.

Meanwhile, talking about Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt recently told a leading magazine, “It’s my most action-heavy film but it’s a different kind of organic action, not dishoom-dishoom,”
