The live-wire of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh, has impressed us with his acting mettle and versatility. In just seven years the actor has delivered memorable performances in films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ramleela and Bajirao Mastani. To get into the skin of the character, Ranveer not only went through a body transformation but also worked on the dialect which was the need of the project. His classy act has fetched him many accolades from renowned directors like Shekhar Kapur, Rohit Shetty. In fact, Mr India and Bandit Queen director, Shekhar Kapoor, was so impressed with his Bajirao act, that he expressed his wish to work with him. Padmavati – 2018

In Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s magnum opus, Padmavati, Ranveer has nailed the character of Delhi emperor, Alauddin Khilji. With his menacing look, Ranveer clearly overshadowed Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the trailer. The film was expected to release on December 1, this year, but due to protests, the makers shifted its release date. There are rumours that this historical drama will hit the screens in February. But honestly, apart from the visual extravaganza, it’s Ranveer Singh’s portrayal, which has made this film one of the most awaited ones.

Gully Boy – 2018

After essaying the role of an evil emperor, Alauddin Khilji, Ranveer will portray the character of a rapper in Zoya Akhtar‘s Gully Boy. The actor will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt for the first time and we are really looking for some crackling chemistry between them.

Simmba – December 28, 2018

Ranveer Singh will entertain us in the badass and rowdy cop avatar in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. Ranveer’s first look in the film has already created humungous buzz and we can’t wait to watch him doing some raw action sequences in this action film. Simmba is the official remake of N T Rama Rao Jr-starrer Telugu hit film, Temper.

’83 – 2019

With ’83, Ranveer Singh will work in a biopic for the first time. The actor will collaborate with Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘s director, Kabir Khan, for this project. The biographical sports drama will be based on the 1983 World Cup and Ranveer will play the Indian skipper and all-rounder of that era, Kapil Dev. The actor will go through professional training to learn cricket and will also learn cricketing skill and intricacies. With this project, we are eager to see Ranveer Singh as a heroic cricketer on the silver screen.
