Padmavati: Deepika-Shahid-Ranveer’s film pushed for April 2018 release?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project Padmavati has been in news for all the wrong reasons. If the first schedule of the film was disrupted in Jaipur by Karni Sena early this year, sets in Kolhapur were set on fire in March. But despite these major setbacks, Bhansali has been busy giving his 100 per cent to his most ambitious project. However, there is no denying the fact that all these past incidents have led to the delay in the filming of the project. And indefinite strike by Federation of Western India Cine Employees has only put the film in jeopardy.
The film is set to hit the screens in November this year, but going by the rate at which the film has faced protests and setbacks, buzz has it that Padmavati won’t be able to meet the November deadline at any cost.
Rumour has it the release date of the film has been pushed to April 2018, however the makers have made no official confirmation.
Bhansali is known to be a director who takes care of even the minor details, and it seems that filmmaker won’t release the film unless he is satisfied with the final product.Padmavati stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles, with Ranveer Singh playing the baddie, Alauddin Khilji.
