Not ‘Dear Zindagi’, Alia Bhatt reveals this film has changed her life

Neither her debut film ‘Student Of The Year’ nor her first film with Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Dear Zindagi’, Alia Bhatt revealed that Imtiaz Ali’s film Highway is the film that changed her life.

2014 film starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in the lead completes 4 years of its release and the memories still remains afresh in the team memories. The story of Veera played by Alia will always be remembered as on Imtiaz’s career best. Yet another road film, Highway is the story of an affluent Delhi girl who discovers herself in the company of her kidnapper, Mahabir Bhatt aka Randeep Hooda. Their journey touched the right chords and proved to be a path breaking film in Alia Bhatt’s career.

She took to Twitter to share a beautiful moment from Highway and wrote, “A film that changed my life. Will always always be so grateful for all the love the film got. Thank you #ImtiazAli @RandeepHooda #4YearsOfHighway”.

The filmmaker also posted unseen pictures during the film’s shoot.

Randeep Hooda paid a beautiful tribut to the characters played by Alia and him. He captioned it, “This picture for me embodies the essence of the souls that lived on together forever .. the haves and have nots are equals under the sun even if only in the shadows cast by its kisses #4yearsofHighway @aliaabhatt @imtiazaliofficial”.

On work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi with Vicky Kausal, Brahmaastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy and in Zoya Akhtar’s film Gully Boy which also stars Ranveer Singh in the lead.

While Randeep Hooda will be seen in Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2 and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 with Sanjay Dutt and Chitrangada Singh.
