Pulipaarvai is a Tamil drama film directed by Praveen Gandhi.It was produced by Vendhar movies.

                   As name itself indicates it has a strong relation with LTTE. It is based on the real life of the 12 year old son of the LTTE leader, ‘freedom fighter’ Velupillai Prabhakaran Who was executed after he surrendered to the Sri Lankan Army. Praveen Gandhi was inspired make the movie after watching the scenes broadcasted by BBC.

                                Since it is a burning issue,any subject in relation with Sri Lankan tamils must be srutinized in a different way and that we can find in this film. Since most Tamils closely bond with their sri Lankan bretheren, any movie touching the Sri Lankan issue should be handled carefully by considering the sentiments of the people of Tamilnadu and Srilanka. But here in this film Praveen Gandhi had succeeded to make it without hurting the sentiments of anyone. Definitely a commendable effort. Satya Dev perfomed well his part and no one can forget him soon after watching the film.its cinematography is super and music are melodius. It stands for peace and harmony and violence is not a solution for resolving a problem.
