Welcome 2 Karachi is a Bollywood comedy film of 2015 produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Uzair Junejo. Ashish R Mohan is the director. The lead roles are act upon by Arshad Warsi and Jaccky Bhagnani. Lauren gottlieb is the other character appears in the film. No other character name is worth mentioning here.

This is a full time comedy film of two dump and dumber friends and their ‘most adventurous’ performance in the land of Pakistan with the terrorists. Shami (Arshad Warsi) a court marshal navy officer who enjoys travelling and is cherishing a desire to round the world along a boat and have fame. On the other hand kedar is a friend of Shami who live with a desire to visit USA and has been denied American visa multiple times. So to fulfill their dream  they planned to go to USA by a boat and started journey. But for their bad fate they reached on the beach of Karachi, Pakistan. From here onwords started their journey of adventure. They are first caught by ISI agent and escapres from there only to go in the custody of Talibani militants. The militants misunderstood them as Taliban militants (!) and accommodate them in one of their camps. They were so uncomfortable there and  wanted to go back to their home land. So they try to escape from there by stealing the mobile phone of the camp leader. But the device was actually a detonator of a bomb designrd by the group to attack US army. When they are out of the camp they tried to dial  a number and unknowingly triggers the bomb destroying the Taliban camp itself. Any way the blast make them heros before the medias and American army. Then we see a dispute between the pakisthan and American armies to take the crdit of the blast by accepting them as their secret agents. The Indian media claims that they are actually Indians who had stuck in Pakistan. Finally they accepted the American demand of giving the credit of the blast to them and tries to escapes from there. But can they escape from the eyes Taliban? Will they catch them again and behead them?. The story progresses to an unexpected end with unforeseen twists.

The film received many negative reviews and none of the critics could give it a star with sufficient rationales. If the purpose of the film was to make comedy there were many approaches before the director to try with. Here the characters are considered as mere buffoons who carry out their jobs with a below standard of ‘Tom and Jerry’ mock-up. Many of the scenes are potboilers and desperately cerated to make comic situations. But it make no laugh, but intensifies the burden of sitting in the thearte. In my opinion the movie is good for a watch for children under 3 years and for Taliban militants who are tolerant enough to suffer it. But they should not be allowed to carry any weapons inside the compound, for the safty of the theatre and the people inside it ! By this film the director might have planned to redicule the inefficiency of the Pakistan to tackle the issue of terrorism. By including the American army into the mess he preceded one more step further to express the view that no one can defeat India In their wisdom and cunning nature. So I request to not waste your time by watching such a useless film.
