The story is about the Tabu acted as Rajeshwari Shinde married to Ayub Khan acted as Vinay has a dream for her sister to get her married with a guy who has better prospective and very good earning. To achieve her dream she looks after this kind of candidates from her own saxena community and keeps them as paying guest. She very confidently and smartly tries to bring her sister to know each other so that they can fall in love. This happens with every candidate she chooses and again she finds new one with better future than the previous one. She forces the previous candidate to leave her house as a paying guest to accommodate another one. This is all about the film Toh baat pakki. This is the only plot for which the film can be viewed for. The film has little humour at times. Tabu and Sherman Joshi acting gives enjoyment in the film. It is the film which can be watched along with the family to have a nice time.

It is mild entertaining film with Tabu’s as usual natural performance and Sharman’s proper comic timing. The film seems little silly but loved to watch. The film is will reminds you the TV serial with simple Indian dressing. The first half of the film is full of delightful comedy while second part is little emotional. The film gives you immense laugh and natural and talented performance of Tabu. It is the film for Tabu lovers. It is a decent family film which is worth watching.
