Tirupahi Express is a kannada comedy drama film directed and written by Pon Kumaran. The film was produced by Shailendra Babu. Sumanth and Kriti Kharabanda performs the lead roles.

                                            The story unfolds in a train goes to Thirupathi the temple town, to attend a marriage . Sumanth is from a joint family and his father is very strict, As the youngest of the family sumanth was very mischievous and usually gets into trouble always. Father was tired of him and warned him that if he finds one more mistake he will be out of the house. So Sumanth is very very careful about committing no mistakes but fate has something else in store for him. While travelling he falls in love with Kriti and they were in deep trouble to convince them about their love in their family. The rest of the story is their attempt to get married with the consent of their parents.

                               It is definitely a film for all ages and a perfect family entertainer. While we travel with them in theatre we won’t bother about passing time because the film has everything to please you stuck on your seats. The director has given much emphasis on precision and beyond doubt, is praiseworthy. The film is full of characters that makes a comedy film worthwhile. At the same time ‘this express train’ derails sometimes in the attempt to make comedy. Some old and outdated numbers are used again and again and Schmaltz of the characters are making the viewers uncomfortable. But at the end Tirupathi Express brings you a message about family values and it is a onetime worth watchable film.
