Teen Patti

Teen patti starts with the the experimentation with the probability of real cash in gambling which takes a complex and deadly turn with greed taking the upper hand. Professor Venkat Subramaniam played by Amitabh Bachchan tries to experiment the find out new definition of probability. He tries this with a card game with his fellow professor and four students. He got success into this and cracked a theory that redefines the law of probability. Professor Shantanu Biswas (R Madhavan) who lying under the debt found this opportunity to earn money very quickly. He gives Venkat to try this theory in the real gambling dens. This was the point their life became out of control as a blackmailer who takes up the focus of the movie. The film have a pace which will keep you guessing about who is the blackmailer. Director Leena Yadav has given very good direction by putting the characters in their place. Few characters in the film like Mahesh Manjerekar, Tinnu Anand, Jackie Shroff and Shakti Kapoor roles were too short but they leave their mark in the plot of the film. The film is very well paced keeping you involved in it. Otherwise second half of the film was little lengthy. The script was not so good. The voice of Ben Kingsley has been dubbed by Boman Irani was little terrible especially in the conversation of Amitabh and Kingsley.
