Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum
Tamilzhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum (TEOA)is a Tamil social thriller film of 2015 released in February. Ramprakash Rayappa is the director and V Chandra produced the film. the major actors of the film are Nakul, Attakathi Dinesh, Bindu Madhavi, Aiswarya Dutta and Urvashi. TEOA is a story merged with fiction, romance and comedy. But the main story deals with a deadly bomb blast that may occur at any time in the city of channai, not definitely planned but happened after a serious solar flare. The main four characters have a close relation with in the story. Mukil (Dinesh) is a real estate broker and her girl friend, simi (Bindu Madhavi) met with an accident in one of his sites. Her condition is very dangerous and she wanted to inform this to Mukul through a message. But due to solar fare the telecom sevice in the city is blocked and a self boasted technician Vasanth (Nakul) is trying to restore it. The other charater is Raja (Sathish), a taxi driver who carries a remotely planted bomb in his car, installed by a terrosit group to destroy the city. It is put in such a way that the moment of restoring the connection of signal of the mobile phones the bomb will blast. But there are some more comic scence and characters appearing in the film to make it more colorful. The climax of the story is about how could they over come the danger and avoiding a big accident. The film received many positve reviews and critics were unanimous in their opinion that it was an innovative attempt to attract audience in a different manner, perverted from usual way and included science fiction in a romantic comedy film. The comedy scenes in the film especially played very well and it gave some fantastic moments in the theatre ' The price is worth for this movie and none can forget the scene of the little thief with Sathih's girlfriend in a conference hall and his flirts with her will be remembered after leaving the theatre also. The performance of each character in this movie is matched perfectly with their story and In a way it a comedy romantic movie than a scientific/terrorist thriller. Sometimes there is no relation of the plot with the story and the film does not give importance to the terrorist act and who had done or what were their intention for fixing such bomb in a car and the logic of how they connected the device with the mobile net work connection. In short at some points the story is not connected well and this is the major defect of the story. But as an entertainer it tested an innovatism and succeded. I wish to close the review with a quote from Times of India, which follows as : 'Ramprakash Rayappa sets up his story effectively and keeps us on the edge of our seats for the most parts. The manner in which he handles this multi-strand narrative without making it chaotic deserves appreciation. The success lies in how makes each of these sub-plots interesting going on to call it a 'solid debut film'.
