Thamasha (Eng: Spectacle) is a super hit Bollywood drama film of 2015 written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. Sajid Nadiadwala is the Producer. The film features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The hit musics of the film were composed by AR Rahman.

Thamasha tells a romantic but self living story of two modern guys who sacrifice their life for the cause of altering the mind of their beloved ones in a desired manner. The main locations of the film were Cosica, France and some famous Indian cities. Two days shootings were scheduled in Tokyo also. Ved Vardhan Sahni (Rabbir Kapoor) is a lover of stories. There was a story teller for him and didn’t miss a chance of hearing any stories and he lived in the dream world of stories acting the characters of some of this famous heartbreaking stories. Tara (Deepika padukone) is a beautiful girl who once went to Corsica, France to visit the beautiful tourist place there. Accidently she met Ved there and they together enjoyed the beauty of the island. Soon they fall in love and they lived there for some days enjoying the beauty and Ved wanted his story with Tara different and he find one of the heroines of his story in Tara. Both of them hide their identities and introduced themselves as ‘Don’ and ‘Mona Darling’ When it was their day of departure they decided to forget every past and decided not to met again in their life time. But the world is so round and even it we didn't wish for it the fate plays. After seven years they meet again in Mumbai at a particular fuction. They realize that their love between them is still active and they can’t forget each other. But Tara knew that it was not her previous lover and time and circumstances had changed him a lot. He had transformed into someone she barely recognize. She didn’t forsaken her hope and tried to bring back him to the period of her old lover. Will she succeed in her attempt? Can she change the total perception of Ved towards life and come back to her as a lover of his old stories? The film advances to a thrilling climax.

The film received many positive reviews and the box office reports says that the film is marching towards a magnificent collection crossing the 100-crores mark. The movie were a talk in the town from the trailer release itself and the leading pairs were once lovers in real life itself. So the viewers were anxiously waiting for their chemistry in this film and no doubt they fulfilled their love on the silver screen before the audience. Their unification again for this film gave way to many gossips and all these were turned to a positive factor to watch the film. Any way Imtiaz Ali once again proved his talent as an efficient director and Ranbir and Deepika shared an easy amazing chemistry to add zing to this complicated love story. AR Rahman has done a good job and the entire film crew with cinematography, have contributed much to the success of the film. They have fanstatically transformed the beauty of Cosica with other places into screen and it gives a soothing relief to the eyes and mind while watching this endearing love story.
