Super Ranga is a Kannada action/romantic film starring Upendra and Kriti Kharbana in lead roles. Sadhu kokila is the director of the film and K Manju produced the film under the banner of Manju Cinemas. It is the remake of a hit Telungu film 'Kick'

 The film unfolds the story of Nayana and Ranga. Nayana a chivalrous girl do every thing for a reason and insist on what is right. But Ranga in of different type and he is not pinned to anything and wherever he works he feels some difficulty and he always looks for a Kick in everything. Kriti’s sister loves Ranga and when Kriti knows about it she tries to pull back her. She studied Ranga in details and later fall in love with him and requsted him to stay in one job and be a responsible one. But later she went to Malaysia to live with her parents. There she happened to met a police officer Who was in search of a thief who is very clever and cunning. The story enters into another phase when they know that the theft and her old lover is one and the same person. But Ranga had a reason to do all these and the rest of the story deals with that. This film received positive to mixed reviews from critics. All praised the role of cinematographer and the acting department.This has enough to satisfy Upendra’s fans and they make it a grand success. Upendra himself had done many such roles earlier and sometimes the audience feels that they are watching some other film of upendra. This repetition is the main drawback.
