Super nani is a family Drama Film Directed by Indra Kumar. It is based on a Gujarati play Baa Ae Maari. This film is about the protagonist who is a selfless lady sacrificing everything for the sake of the family. But the family members are living in their own world dreaming and not considering their Mother and her love for them. Life became monotonous and stereotyped for her. But here comes the twist. Her grand son Mann (Sharman Joshi) arrives in the family and turns every thing in favour of Nani and at last she became a most respectful person in her family. Rekha preserves an aura of unattainable and incredible beauty in her performance. Sharman Joshi as her grandson looks the part and also does reasonable justice to his role Though the story brings us back to the era of late enghties and nineties where family values were the key words, he had succeeded in relating the story with the modern culture and civilization in which all are becoming selfish persons.
