Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram
Samsaram Arogyathinu Hanikaram is a Malayalam romantic comedy film directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by S Sasikanth. Dulkhar Salman and Naziria Nazim are the lead roles in this film. The film was simultaneously made in Tamil with the same lead actors, under the titile ‘Vaayi Moodi Pesavum’ on the same day.
The story starts and develops in the background of village named Thenmala. Arvind (Dulkhar) is an youngster searching for a job and at last joined as a sales executive in a gum factory. And as a thunder bolt to every one an unusual disease hits that village which makes people dump. Everyone was afraid of the disease and it was spreading like wild fire in the village. No sudden remedy could find out by the authorities. Later the health department issues a statement that the only way to prevent the disease is by stop talking. It is a difficult task for them to obey, but there was no other choice before them. The rest of the story deals with how people live without speaking. Wheather they will find a remedy or not ?, can they lead a normal life? is the climax of the story.
The film received a mixed response. Balaji this time came with a refreshing tale but not clichéd. Nazria had a new face in this film and she succeeded in absorbing the character fully. The comdy in this film is average and enough to make as laugh for a while. But all these things were not enough to make it a success and it was a flop. Sometimes it tests our patience as none of the happenings are even remotely any relation with reality. "The film is filled with gags, satire and a cheeky commentary on life. While the laughter is loud and frequent in the theatre, half an hour later you wonder what the reason was for all the fuss. The film doesn't have a taut storyline that lingers in your mind. If that had been nailed, this would have been an experiment that really worked” (The Hindu).
