Run Raja Run

Run Raja Run is a Telungu action-comedy film directed by sujeeth. Uppalapati Pramod and V Vamsi Krishna Roddy produced it on UV creations banner. The film features Sharwanand, Seerat kapoor And Adivi Sesh in lead rols.

This time Sujeeth approaches us with a different political story. Raja a son of a vgetable vendor is very honest at heart and don’t like to cheat anybody. He is fond of girls but hearing their story he break ups relations with them. But finally he finds a girl named priya who were the girl of his dreams and they two fall in love each other. Her lover was a daughter of a very crooked police commissioner named Dileep and she also tries to cheat him. At the same time some ministers in that state were kidnapped by a group and investigation on this case was given to Dileep, priya’s father. Dileep had a plan to give her daughter married to ministe’s son and for that he played some foul play. Knowing all the story of her Lover's background priya really started to love him. Raja at last reveals the police commissioner’s foul play in front of the public and he was arrested. Finally priya and Raja reunite.

Run Raja Run has more a positive review than negative. It deals with many problems in our modern politics and how the politicians and beaucracy have related each other in exploiting the common people. They joined together to that extent that even the highest authorities are not free from it. They are gathering wealth by dirty means and are protected by the same law and order. For Sharwanand this film is a perfect come back and he can forget his recent failures. It contributes an exceptional climax and that twist makes it interesting. We can conclude with The Times of India’s review on this film: “Sujeeth gets a lot of things right in his debut film; however, it still is a lost opportunity. The emphasis on style takes over the sharp writing that's quite visible in the first act. For all you know, Run Raja Run could have been a truly unique and quirky film in a long time. Alas, it ends up as a light-hearted entertainer which begins to take itself too seriously after a point and loses its edginess in the process".
