Rajathandhiram is another comedy-heist film released in Tamil language, this year (2015). The film is written and directed by the debutant AG Amid. Sunland Cinemas and white Bucket Productions jointly produced the film. G V Prakash kumar composed a promo film for this film which became famous in itself. The lead characters of the film are Veera babu and ReginaCassandra.

Rajathandhiram is an interesting story based on some conning people, their struggle and the afrtermaths following it. Arjun (Veer Babu and his two friends make a living out of conning people. They selected this field after they became a failure in other fields. Sometimes they may get a few thousands for their lovlihood and they used it. They were satisfied with the amount they get. But all things went wrong with the coming of a girl into Arjun’s life. Arjun falls in love with a girl, Michella (Regina Cassandra) and it was a turning point in their life. Their financial need grows faster than their earnings and this made them to plan a big con job. But their expections went wrong and they all fell into a deep ditch from which salvation was not so simple. The friends were in a dilemma whether to forsake their leader or not. But the rest of the story is interesting with many hilarious, captivating scenes.

The film Rajathandhiram, which was hit film of 2015 in Tamil received positive reviews from critics. The film maked popularity as a comedy-heist-romantic film. Arjun and his friends along with Michelle really gave a treat to the viewers. The debutant director, not showing sign of a beginner proved his talent by showing  how to use comedy in a film to make the audience laugh. Though started slowly it gradually became a family entertainer. As Sify wrote: “ Rajathanhiram is a con-caper laced with revenge, wit, humour and romance. What works here is director Amid’s smart writing and brilliant screenplay sans all the normal clichés seen in such Genre… it’s a perfectly satisfying watch”.
