Raja Rajendra

Raja Rajendra is a superhit kannada comedy film of 2015 written and directed by Pon Kumaran. Uday K Mehta is the producer of the film and it was released on 6 February. The main stars of the film are Sharan, Ishita Dutta, Vimala Raman and P Ravi Shankar. The film tells the story of a guy who was brought in as a killer becomes the savior of the concerned person, with some comic twists. Mani (Sharan) is a simple man at heart but circumstances made him to act like an imposter of a dreaded goon named Bottle Mani. Sometimes people are considering him as Bottle Mani and he exploits situation like this to make money in order to save his mother from a particular disease . Once an offer came from the royal family of Neelakanta Raju to act as their grandson and kill neelakanta Raju in cold blood. The offer was to Bottle Mani, but it also falls on our hero. He agreed the contract with pleasure and get entry into the house. The story of Neelakanta Raju is as follows : An old man with 3 daughters and one long lost son. The son-in- laws are anxiously waiting for his death. Their eyes are on the huge wealth of the royal family. But Neelakanta is actually waiting for his son and grandson to come and he still believes it strongly. Using this opportunity Mani understood that the sons-in-laws had brought him and adviced him to act like his grandson and kill him secretly. But as usual, being a tender heart he couldn't kill The Raja, saves him many times and making things worsen he fell in love with one of the daughters of the son-in-law. Mean while the soul of the Neelakanta's father entered into Mani and started to teach every one a lesson. The opposite side recoganized that thay have made a big mistake by bringing the false man into the fray and tried to dismiss him by any means. But all attempts failed and they understood that some spirits are playing in between then and they approached a balck magician to seal the sprit of Raja Rajendra. The twist of the story starts from there and many new charaters appear in the show later. All the later events are so interesting that certainly make you laugh so much. The film received many positive reviews and as an entertainer it gained popularity amoung the audience. Pon Kumaran deserves praise for converging innovatism into the film ia a fanststic way. Though an old subject he tried to give it a different look by introducing the souls of the predecessors. And later by releasing the spirits of bus conductor, kabaddi player, independence activist and drama artists into others make out the situation so funny that you can't leave the theatre without a stomach pain, as bonus. The laughter riot in climax makes the film a super comedy and the presence of Ishita Dutta with her beautiful steller looks gives it a romantic feel. But don't think that it is a film with no drawbacks. Sometimes the comedy cross boundaries of civility. And some situations are deliberately created for comedy which actually makes no sense at all. Even then we can recommend it as a good comedy film to enjoy your holidays fantastically.
