Pulan Visaranai 2 is a Tamil crime action thriller movie of 2015 directed by RK Selvamani. It is the sequel to 1990 super hit film "Pulan visaranai". Ibrahim Rowther is the producer of the film. It stars prasanth, Karthika in lead roles with RK and Piramid Natrajan playing in Pivotal roles. This movie has three lead ladies- Ashwini, Adeem Khan and karthika. This movie is about the cruel deeds of the multicrore millionaires who are very selfish and cunning. Most of their accomplishments are for their personal benefits and they are misleading their dependents convincing them that they are doing all for the benefit of their employees and thus for the nation. Pyramid Natrajan is the owner of a big prtroleum company and he is in fact, a greedy man. He wish to expand his business kingdom to the whole of the world and he appoints some engineers to explore under water oil reseves. The engineers are working day and night and the group stikes rich and identifies a huge oil reserve source in their venture. They in their cheerfulness informed all about this to their master and the employer was very happy and promised therm big offers. As a sign of compliment he planned a vacation tour for the employees and all were very happy. But they do not know that it was a hidden sketch drawn by their master in collaboration with another business tycoon (RK) to eliminate them all from the world itself. On the way to Kulu Manali all the engineers except one lady engineer were killed and it was made to look like an accident. But the escaped lady engineer was a bold woman and the information about her escapes prevented their sleep and they tried to kill her. A honest officer was in charge of the city came across the shot engineer and takes her to hospital. On knowing the shocking reality from her he decided to investigate on this subject. Then really a war begins between him and the tycoon kings. He lost all his relatives in this war. But he didn't put his step backward and went foreward until the final encounter. What were the shocking realities that were revealed to him? Can he overcome the enemies and save the nation from such criminals in future? The rest of the story reveals all this and lead you to an unexpected thrilling climax. Though this is a sequel of the film "Pulan Visaranai", a super hit, this one couldn't make out the success of the its precursor. The film received mixed and positive reviews alike and no doubt didn't fall flat on the ground. In the beginning the film countenance some production problems and it took 9 years for shooting and release. It indirecltly touches most of the social phenomenon including price rice and black money. It reveals the obscured actions behind the hike in price of the petroleum products. The link is very complex and social and political and personal gains are behind unscrupulous actions. Prashanth as the tough and honest cop is perfect and acted perfectly to accomplish his role. RK steals the show with the mean and corrupt businessman. His performance is really great and it is surely boost his career graph to a high level than he think. The supporting artists played their role well and make an immense part in its success. If we avoid some unrealistic scenes in association with actions and its duration, it is a watchable film.
