It is a sequel of Hindi movie Phoonk. The story begins with the Sudeep who is playing Rajeev shift to his new house with his wife Amruta who is playing as Aarti and his daughter Ahsaas who is playing Raksha, his son and a maid servant. While playing around the house, the kids found out a doll. The kids bring that doll to the house. From then, the Rajeev family starts experiencing traumatic situations in their house. Initially Rajeev did not mind much on the situations but eventually realizes something wrong happening. The first part of sequel Phoonk was released in September 2008 which was directed by Ram Gopal Verma and Phoonk 2 is derected by Milind Gadagkar. Phoonk was dealt very beautifully throughout the movie. Phoonk 2 was not upto the mark to deliver same punch as Phoonk. Obviously, it depends upon the captain of the ship. Amruta and Ahsaas was not so dynamic in the film, but surprisingly Sudeep gave a strong performance.
