Perariyathavar (Eng: Names Unknown) is a renowned Malayalam drama film of 2015 Directed by Dr. Biju. Anil Kumar K is the producer while debutant Issac Thomas done the Music. Suraj Venjaranmoodu is the hero of the film, Indrans and others do the role of supporting artists. This is the pathetic story of a father and his son working as scavengers and the the hardship and challenges they face to lead their life in our society. Suraaj (Father) is a widowed man and there is nobody in his house to work except his son. He with a close friend (Indrans), who belongs to a tribal community, is working as a temporary cleaning sweeper. Some times father takes his son along with him. Though he love his son too much, unwillingly he takes his son to do this work, because there is no other option left before him. They collect the garbage from the city and dumps it at a rural village.The film shows many real pictures as happenings during their work and travel through the city and the end point, the dumping village. In other words it tells the story of some nameless, faceless marginalized people in the midst of huge posh building and and roaring vehicles. Those who travel by the streets have no time to look at them and listen their stories and they lead a worthless life and no body is careing them. The story is more visual than verbal and most of the emotional and passionate situations are expressed in actions and not in words. This film actually make Malayalam film industry to boast on her work and made a name outside kerala and India. The excellent performance of Suraaj and the praiseworthy attempt of the dorector Dr. Biju made the film internationally famous. The film was awarded Best film on Enviornment conservation at the 61st National Film Awards. And for the incredibly dignified performance, Suraj Venjaranmoodu was awarded the 'Best Actor Award'. We will wonder, whether it was the comedian suraaj who appears in most of the film to make us laugh with his standard (?) funny side. One who watches this film once will forget all other comedian characters of this versatile genius and he will be remembered for his performance in this film. He proved that reticent characters are alos viable to him. The film got Green Rose award for the best film with a global message at Jaipur International film festival 2015.
