Pataas
Pataas is a Telugue action thriller movie of 2015 directed by debutant Anil Ravipudi. Kalian Ram produced the film. The film casts Nansmuri, kalian Ram, Shruti Sodhi, Sai kumar and Roja. The film tells the story of a son and father who became enemies by misunderstanding and later unite for a common enemy. Kalyan Sinha who is a soft hearted man inside becomes a corrupt officer to make money to take revenge on his father. On the other hand Murali Krishna who is that unfortunate father was a sincere officer. One is IPS (son) and another (father)is DGP. Kalyan thinks that his father deliberately kills his mother and sister. But he actually left them to save many families who were victims of a riot. He considered this as his duty as a police officer and given more importance to his people than his family. Kalian became a headache to his father. Kalian also encourages a local MP named GK and used as a weapon against his father. Kalian met two women in Hyderabad, Mahathi and Kavya, mahathi was a journalist and kavya was a deaf-mute Philiathropist. He loves them both, but Kavya as a sister. But Kavya was killed by GK's brother Nani, when she tried to save a techie from sexual assault by him. Kalyan was angry and he studied more on GK and understands that it was GK who was behind the riot, which indirectly killed His mother and sister. He re-united with his father and Mahathi also approved the marriage. He arrested Nani but Gk's men Killed Murali, his father in retaliation. Then started the real twist, the story of incessant war begins until the enemies were uprooted. But it was not easy as we concluded. For more awesome fantastic scenes I request to watch the film. The film received positive review more and it was a super hit at the box office. This was an entertaining story of the debuntant director Anil Ravipudi and with this film he proved his talent authentically. A handful scenes are shot extraordinarily beautiful and the chemistry of the main characters are widely accepted as outstanding. Both the son and father relation before and after reconciliation, their tension, passion, emotion and reaction all are expressed well. On technical grouds also it surpasses its predecessors and all sections of the society received it warmly. Though some exaggeration smells in the story with this IPS-DGP family the audience has forgotten it infront of the performance of the actors. The action scenes are well designed with technical perfection and the second half is more interesting than the first.
