Mukunda

Mukunda (Eng: Krishna) is a Telugu action oriented love story film of 2014 written and directed by Srikanth Addala. Tagore madhu with Nallamalapu produced the film under the banner Leo Productions. It is Varun Tej's  debut film in Telugu. Along with Varun Pooja Hegde performed the iead roles. The other actors performing key roles are Rao Ramesh. Prakash Raj and Nassar. Mukunda tells the story of a youth, his love and reactions towards local politicians when they interfere in their affairs. Arjun was Mukunda’s friend studying in the same college. Arjun loved a political kingmakers niece and it crates problems in their life. Mukunda interfered in this issue for his friend but the leader who was also the chairman of the city was disagreed with that relation. When Mukunda made problems for him he used scrupulous ways to bend Arjun. But the lover of his friend was so strong and stood like a rock behind Mukunda and that gave him more courage. Mukunda challenged Rao Ramesh (leader) and it became a political confrontation. Will he be able to overcome the trap of Ramesh Rao? Any way you can watch an anticlimax film with unexpected happenings. More than a love story it is a political satire film. It exposes the hidden unexpected nature of cruelty in th minds of politically clean imaged people. Varun Tej, nephew of Chiranjeevi and son of naga Babu acted brilliantly and his figure and body structure aptly suited to this frame. The fans of Chiranjeevi also welcomed him warmheartedly and coveted ladyfans mind with his height and well-built body. We can see the family blood in his actions and if a little more careful about expressions and body movement surely he will be in list of superstars of Telugu industry soon. Pooja Hedge delivers a decent performance and she is part of the unexpected twist of the movie in the second half. It was a big budget film and the belief of the film crew on its success was not a myth. It is a worth watchable movie of 2014.
