Mr. X
Mr. X is a 3D science fiction film of 2015 directed by Vikram Bhatt. The story of the film was written by Shagufta Rafique and Mukesh Bhatt produced the film. The film features Emraan Hashmi and Amyra Dastur in lead roles.
Mr. X unfolds the story of a guy who got the invisibility power and take revenge on the goons who had shattered his life forever. Raghuram Rathod (Emraan Hashmi) and his wife were working as government employees. They were very sincere at their works and their patriotism and dedication to work were an obstruction to some criminals and they decide to eliminate the couples from the face of the earth. For that they sketched out a series of secret plans and they succeeded in eliminating them from their sight. But the twist of the story starts from here and in the mean time by God’s grace Raghuram obtained the power of invisibility and he decided to take revenge upon his enemies. He can jump buildings, ride bikes and even shoot with a gun (but not a spider man!). But the enemies were too strong and he was not ready to sacrifice the pride of the nation before them. The rest of the story deals with the hardship and obstacles he had to survive to achive his aim.
The film received negative reviews more and was not a success at the box office. Some children may like the film but not by a vigilant viewer. The similarity of the story with many of the previously released films of Hollywood and Bollywood hold back its success and the 3D and VFX effects were also very poor compared to Hollywood films. But on performance wise Emraan Hasmi was fantastic and he himself had undergone for many physical changes for the film. Some dangerous, but hilarious situations in the film provide you with some wonderful situations that will make you thrilling and stick you on your seats. The love scenes with Amrya Daster under water is fantastically copied and were the plus point of the film. The main reason for the failure of the film lies in the fact that with a tarilor release his fans expected more from this film but could’t find out nothing extraordinary in it.
