Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju is a Telugu Romantic film of 2015 written and directed by kranthi Madhav. K A Vallabha done the production work of the film. the film stars Sharwanand and Nithya Menon in lead roles. The story of Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju tells about the love between two persons and the pressure they have to take for the unification of their soul into one. It truly resembles an old-world romance. 'A romance where time nearly stands still; a beautifully mounted canvas with music that's soothing enough to allow both the film's lead characters and viewers to slow down and savour memorable moments'. Raja Ram (Sharwananad) lives with his lovable mother in a seaside house in Vizag. He is studying in college now.His mother is very fond of him and as a means to livelihood teaches him classical music. But he wanted to become a sportsman, running was his favourite item. Though he was very talented in athelitics he can't afford the cost of sports shoes and he always participated in competition bare footed. He had a love affair at the college and his sweetheart bought him a pair of shoes. There love grows beyond boundaries. But after some time the same girl appeared before him with a second identity but he couldn't distinguish her easily. She came to his home to study music and the other one came to college with a 'Purdha'. So she in two ways loved him and matters went wrong and she was in a position not to reveal her real identity and at last they two departed each other. As they grown they become very rich and each one had their business world. But the time was not enough to wipe out things and they two lived separately cherishing their dreams in solitude. They can't forget each other. Can they fulfill their dreams? Or fate play its role to continue their loneliness? The story develops to an interesting climax. But in this world of technologically developed period such a story finds no place of importance. But there are audience love this type of love story and mostly they belongs to the old generation. The performance of the lead actors are absorbing and their chemistery worked well. The low pace of the film is widely criticized and a little more care in the direction would have made it a super hit film. The steller looks and witty moments with Nithya is beautifully screened and music also is good and positive. I wish to conclude this as a one time watchable film., with a quote from The times of India which follows as : 'That a filmmaker can evoke at least a bit of awe while dealing with romance, amidst scores of sex-crazed rom-croms, is no mean feat.Between its simplistic approach to romance and lack of a strong conflict, there's a layer of magic in Malli . Roju. That's more than enough to make you crave for more, especially for Nithya and Sharwanand's cracking chemistry'
