Lorai

Lorai is a Bengli drama action film of 2015. It was directed by Parambrata Chatterjee. Greentouch entertainment produced the film and the film stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Indrasish Roy and Payal Sarkar. Sebastian Ryan was once a foot ball hero of kolkatta. From childhood itself he had a strong desire for football and by his hard work he became a star in football and become a part and parcel of football team in one of the best teams of kolkatta. But some unprecedented things happened in his life and he was expelled from the team and still those who know closely admires him. But later all this disappointments lead him to a drunkard and he was addicted to alchohol. But his name was proposed by the youths of a remote village to train them. He happily accepted their invitation and went there to train them. It was a violence-torn village and he had to face many hardships to train them. Firstly he selected some smart youth, whom he assumed that will perform well in future. But some unexpected happening in the village changed his perception and he decided to counteract it. What was the obstacles before him to overcome? Could he be able to train a good team that can compete with any seasoned team in Kolkata? The story develops with twists and turn. The film received many positive reviews and since it carried out a different subject it was noticed by many. The film was receieved warmly among the football lovers and they didn't bother about the exaggeration in this film and gave a chance for cinematic liberty to fulfill their ambition. Wheather a team, who knows nothing about football, can be trained to such a level in six months was not at all a question before them and they thought all these are possible with their hero and they received the film wholeheartedly.
