Lekhu Lekhu Lekhi Deli

Lekhu lekhu Lekhi Deli is an Oria romance comedy-drama film directed by Susanta Mani and produced by Sitaram Agarwal. The lead roles are played by Babushaan and Jhilik .It tells an unconventional love story of two complete strangers. Jhilik is having the habit of scribbling something sweet on everything she finds. It is this habit turns her life upward down and gave suspense to the story. She used to scribble on vegetable and shirts. Once she scribble something sweet on a bus going to a different city and for her surprise she gets a replay. Here starts the love story of Jhilik with Babu. Babu finds out that the scribbler is a girl and he falls in love with her Jhilik also loves the stranger who replies to her messages. They exchanged their phone numbers by this way but rain washed off the numbers. Neither therefore knows the others identity. Meanwhile jhilik parents arranged for her marriage with a rich boy in their place. But she was in confusion she couldn’t forget her unknown lover. Then she tries to meet him in someway. But even though they met each other they couldn’t recognize each other. It is a unusual story told in an unusual way. It has all the ingredients in right proportion, romance, comedy, little action etc. It is a simple story and portray it without any entertaining gimmicks of over dosage of sentiments. This is their second film together and their performance adds a lot to the film. Though the story is an unusual one many happenings in this film is also has no relation with reality. But if you’re the sort who grants leeway to movies for stretching its neck out beyond the domain of the conventional, then Lekhu Lekhu lekhi Deli has quite some visual swagger and splendor to it.
