Killadi

Killadi is an action Tamil film released in January 2015. A venkatesh directed the film and Salem Chandrasekharan is the producer. The film features Bharath and Nila in lead roles while Roja and Vivek plays some pivotal roles. Killadi tells the story of a young man with his girlfriend who comes suddenly into his life in an unexpected circumstance. Dharani (Bharath) is a brilliant college student and is capable of facing any challenging situation of his own. Though good at heart, he is short tempered and sometimes burst out to situation and always try hard to suppress his feelings. Once he met a rich girl on the road who is trying to escape from her cruel mother. He helped her by offering a lift and on the way she told him her heartbreaking story. Her mother tried to give her in marriage with mother's uncle, who was very elder than her and a crooked man at heart. She didn't like the relation and with out her consent mother fix on their marriage and she asked him to help her to save herself from this complicated matter. On the way itself they fall in love with each other and the mischievous mother and uncle tried to kill Dharani many times. But they failed in their attempts and finally they knew that Dharani was a strong man than they think and their swindle methods are useless beforehim. But they were not ready to retreat and planned a final attempt to trap them. Will they be able to succeed in their final venture? What happens to Anjali in the end? Will they marry each other? The rest of the story reveals all these questions and for answers I request you to watch the film. The film received mixed and negative reviews more and it was not a hit at the boxoffice. The chemistry between Bharath and Nila didn't work well as expected and a girl going and loving a stranger with in a short time is not acceptable to common audience. The similarity of the story with many previous films washed out its freshness and untimely humour which is arrogant many times added fuel to its defeat. But Roja's exceptional performance as a cruel mother is exemplary and no one could expect such an act from a yesteryear heroine.. It shows some light into ideology, the modern society thinks and where love and kindness is out of the court. People are becoming more and more selfish and they are ready to do anything for their gain.
