Khatta Meetha

The story begins with the character of Sachin Tichkule i.e. Akshay Kumar who is a struggling road constructor of a small town and who has taken loan from almost each and every person from the whole village, He is unable to have any contract and he even have no money to give bribe to the high officials, Then adding fuel to fire their comes a new municipal commissioner Gehna i.e. Trisha who was a fallen greatly love with Sachin one time. Moreover there are other characters like corrupt politicians, officers etc which makes the condition of Sachin more awful. The turn comes when a bridge constructed by Sachin was collapse due to bad construction which takes lots of innocent people lives. Other characters like Figun, Shuhas i.e. Milind Gunaji shift the whole responsibility and later killed to Vishwas Rao i.e. Tinu Anand who was the driver of Sachins family. Azad Bhagat i.e. Makrand Deshpandey who lost his family in the mishap decided to bring justice to himself by giving severe punishments to the criminals. What happens next is rest part of the story. The film has an excellent idea but fails to touch the heart and mind of audiences due to poor narration and presentation. Music was poor. Akshay as usual was awesome, Tisha was suitable in her role, Makrand was not up to the mark, Rajpal as Rangeela was excellent, character of Neeraj was loud, Asrani was appropriate, Aruna Irani was not given proper role, Urvashi was not attractive, Manoj was irritating, Johnny was hilarious, Kulbhushan Kharbanda was pleasing all others were good on their part. The movie is basically was meant to be a lampoon against the current situation. The film stopped to clicking the mind of the audiences. Though there are some comedy moments, does not create good earnings in the box-office, Due to the characters in the movie the expectations was very high but it does not match with the expectations and one of the main reasons for its downfall.
