Khamoshiyan

Khamoshiyan is a Hindi supernatural horror film released in January 2015. Karan Darra directed the film, Muhesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt produced in association with Vinesh Films. The film is said to be a sequel of'Haunted 3D' (2011). The film stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi in lead roles. Khamoshiyan is a love as well as horror type movie and tells the story of a writer and his lady love, whome he meet in a mystrerious situation, their tension and silent past along with her bed-ridden husband. kabir (Ali Fazal) is a novelist and now live alone separately from his wife. They had a failed relation, he wants redemption from it and in search of an inspirational place to write an interesting and exciting story. With that concept in mind he moved to Kashmir, the 'Switzerland of India'. After reaching there she stayed in a mysterious gust house run by a lady, Meera (Sapna Pabbi). Meera was the wife of an industrialist, jaidev (Gurmeet Choudhary) who is in bed for years, because of an accident. But Kabir felt some ubnormalities in the house and he felt symptoms of some extra ordinary happenings in the house. He studied Meera closely and he found that she also keep some mystery with her and for a long time she had not left the house. Unintentionally Kabir srarts getting attracted to her and Meera in return started to love him. He experienced some unusual things and once heard meera talking in a man's voice to somebody. The curious Kabir tried to take her away from home, reluctant Meera agreed to his persuation. As they went away from home an accident occurred to them and Kabir understood the hands of an evil spirit behind it. He drugged Meera and brought a 'tantrik' to know the secret behind her. The tantrik revealed that the spirit is none other than her husband and her husband is no more. So it was a shocking news to Kabir and on further investigation he got some astonishing clues about Jaidev. What were those informations? Could they find the spirit and free it? Did he get an interesting story to develop? The rest of the story reveals all of your answers. The film received mixed and negative reviews more, a 'flop' at the box office. The only plus point of the film was fantastic music and alluring heroine. Otherwise it is a clear waste of time. How can we call it a horror film while it shows some scenes which were not actually enough to frighten even a child. They are familiar with such scenes even in their cartoons and in this modern age the director must have approached some serious methods to take the audience by hand. The film is filled with more unbelievable things and the story has no relation with reality. It is doubtful that a lady who is running a gust house at kasmir for a long time, falls in love easily with Kabir, a true stranger for her. It is foolish to believe that she drugged with him in a house!. So I suggest to watch this boring movie for viewers with no other choice before them.
