Katti Batti is a Hindi Romantic comedy film of 2015 directed by Nikil Advani. Siddharth Roy Kapur produced the film under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. The film stars Imran Khan and kangana Ranaut in lead roles.

Katti Batti tells the love story of Maddy and Payal, ups and downs in their romantic relationships. Madhav (Imran Khan), who is commonly known as Maddy is an Architect. On the other hand Payal  (Kangana Ranaut) is his lover, starts their love from college days. Like in every love story here also some ups and downs pulls the story forward. There were friendly silly problems from the beginning. But once it grow bigger and he abandond her in the air port because of some minor problems and on repentance  he came back to fetch her. But it was too late and he couldn’t find her anywhere and this incident turned his life very much. Can he get back her?, will their love fulfill? The rest of the story reveals and answers all these questions.

The film received many positive reviews and the presence of kangana Ranaut herself gave the film an unexpected response from the part of the audience. The Unique pair Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan were the main attraction and plus point of the film. As her superhit films Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns won her a super heroine image, NiKil Advani decides to use and make profit with her in this film. But to some extent it does not work successfully and the film became only an average one at the box office. There was nothing novel in the story and the subject itself was very old and repeated one. But on performance Ranaut proved her talent and she proved that every role is viable to her. The emotional scenes with the hero is so sentimental that unknowingly we follow them in the story till the last.
