Karthikeya is an extraordinary super natural thriller action film written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. This film was shot and released Simultaneously in Telungue and Tamil. The story of the film background is related with a Karthikeya temple situated near Andhra-Tamil boarder. The name of the hero of the film is also karthik a medico student. The story of the temple starts centuries ago and it was constructed by a king as a Remuneration for answers to his prayer to God. Every year on karthika Purnima a special huge light is emitted from the temple and it was believed that it was karthikeya’s presence and blessings. But three years back the emission of light stopped and some unexpected happenings led to the closure of the temple. Afterwards many people tried to open the temple but they all died of a snake bite or an accident. Some officers came to investigate the case but they also came with the same fate. As the situation was like this A medico student karthik (Nikhil Sidharth) comes to that place for a medical camp. His lady love and co-worker Valli is also from the same place and her father is a religious man and closely associated with the temple. Kathik and his crew got accommodation near by the Temple and when he also had met with  some bad experience on the following night he decided to find a solution to the messed problem. On the day when he tried to enter the temple a snake tried to kill him and he captured it lively. His prof. explains that the snake had an intention to kill him and he should abandom his venture to enter the temple. But karthik approach Valli’s father and he revealed that by emission of rays from the temple on Karthika purnima only can open the temple. Karthik take the operation as a challenge and whether will he succeed to open the temple or can reveal the secret behind the emission of the light or who was behind all these trouble ? ..The rest of the story tells about this.
