Kaaki sattai ((Eng: Tan Uniform) is an action packed masala Tamil thriller of 2015 released on February.  R.S. Durai Senthilkumar is the director as well as the writer of the film. Dhanush is the producer of the film. this is their second collaboration after the 'Ethir Neechal'. The music of the film was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The lead stars appearing in this film are Sivakarthikeyan, Sri Divya, Prabhu, Vijay Raaz and Yog Japee. Kaaki Sattai is an interesring police story blend with love and revenge. This is the story of a police officer who wants to reveal himself as a true guard of the law and order of the country. Mathimaran (sivakarthikeyan) is a police constable working under Inspector Sathyamuthy (Prabhu). Though Sathyamuthy is a police officer fed up with the presents system of policing was ubable to do anything because of some bad past experience. He knew that the entire police deparment is corrupted and only a few is excempted from it. Their illegal tieups with polititicians, Communal leaders and criminals had make this department a total waste and the common was exploited cruely to feed them on their livelihood. So most of the officers are sitting idle in their office doing nothing and they have to expect only two things ie their monthly salary and clients contribution to their bank accouts. But Mathimaran was not such a constable and he really wanted to protest against the social injustice, prevailed in the society. During this time he came into contact with a nurse named Divya (Sri Divya) in a hospital and at first site itself he liked her character and started to love her. He knew from her that her parents do not like police officers and so he hide the truth that he was a police officer. The Chairman of the hospital was Dr. devasagayam (Yog japee),a greedy man and he with the support of a politician, Durai carrird out some illegal means to grab more money under the cover of his hospital. They captured sick and injured patients, mostly migrants and after making them brain dead plucked their organs. They sold it in foreign markets for a huge amount of money. With the help of Divya he came to know about it and could not sit idle like others. He took it as a challenge and decided to fight against it with his full strength. In return they tried to kill him but unfortunately Durai's father and Sathyamurthy died in the incident. Again he confronts with Devasagayam but he commits suicide, fearing of facing the society. But before dying he had passed some relevant revelations to Mathimaran about Durai. For mathimaran this much evidence was not enough to arrest Durai or expose him publically. But knowing he is the real culprit mathimaran outlined another extraordinary approach to eliminate Durai. What was his plan? Could he make it a success? Could he save Divya for him or  from among all these obscurities? For an exciting climax I request you to watch the film. The film received many positive reviews and were regarded as a decent entertainer of 2015. It was a super hit in Tamil nadu and collected a large sum from abroad also. This is the second attempt of the team and they succeeded in making it a hit like the previous one 'Ethir Neechal. Sivakarthikeyan took the film on his shoulders and he deserve a special appreciation in the success of the film. his stunning performance has conquered the hearts of the tamil youths and he become an actual hero before them. The social aspect of the film is a must discussed subject and the film shows light towards the discrepancies that prevail in the society. Some of the most respectable people in the society have a second face not known to public, which is very ugly and hideous. And it also shows that sometimes man himself is his worst enemy and for money they will do anything with out any conscience. But some real unanswerable questions that erise while watching the film is that how can a man alone could protest and win against such a political don. Though, later he was premoted to the post of Police Inspector, the fight against those culprits started while he was a subordinate of Sathyamurthy. This one man show sometimes go beyond reality and too much exaggeration of the character leads to some moronic scenes in the film. I prefer to conclude the review with a quote from IB Times, which is as follows: 'Kakki Sattai' is a decent masala mass entertainer and if you enjoy this genre, you can definitely hit the theatres and enjoy your time with this entertainer'.
