Ishkiya

Ishkiya is the film of three characters Arshad Warsi acted as Babban, Naseeruddin Shah acted as Khalujaan and Vidya Ballan acted as Krishna in the film. Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah run away from their boss Salman Shahid acted as Mustaq and find refuge in the house of their friend Vidyadhar’s house. Vidyadhar is no more but they find his widow wife Krishna (Vidya Balaan). They both fall in love with Krishna. When the situation becomes adverse and their lives are in danger, Krishna takes charge of the situation. The subject of the film is countryside that is bold and real. The Naseeruddin shah role is altogether different never find before. He played his role effortless and perfectly. Vidya Balan has also added a value to her performance through this film after Paa. She has played her grey character very sensuously as a vibrant Indian lady in her simple and desi dressing. She played her character very effectively especially in the romantic scene with Arshad Warsi and Naseerudin Shah. Again Arshad Warsi had also given important performance after Munnabhai. He has hold his character against Naseerudin Shah. The film will take you to the lawless interiors of India which will be definitely new learning about the buried episode and stories of India.
