Hawaizaada

Hawaaizaada is a Hindi biographical film of 2015 Directed by Vibhu Puri. The film is produced by Vishal Gurnani and Rajesh Banga for Reliance Entertaiment. The film features Ayushmann Khurana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda in lead roles. The film is based on the life of an Indian scientistist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is said to be the father of aeronautics in India. Shivkar is said to have made India's first unmanned plane. The story is mixed with love and treachery. The story sets in during the British rule in India, during 1890's. Shivkar Bapuji Talpade alias Shivi (Ayushmann Khurana) was a lazy unoccupied fellow doing nothing doing good for his family or society. He was not good at studies and and was expelled from school. But during his childhood itself he studied veda enthusiatcally and were engaged in some sort of maintaining works. As he grown he fell in with a stage dancer Sitara (Pallavi Sharda) and when it was revealed to his parents they expelled him from family also. He met a crazy scientist who gradually changed his mind and he become a disciple of him. Subbaraya Shastri (Mithun Chakraborty) is the name of that scientist and he was in the experiment of making a flying machine. The British Government Know about it and Shastri were under close observation. But Sastri continued his experiment secretly. As Sitara refused his proposal for marriage, Shivi dicided to be with Shastri as a full time worker. They together worked for several months for its completion but gradually run out of money and got help form a local king. Finally they managed to build a small aeroplane and had a successful unmanned test flight. But unfortunately after a few seconds of take off it collapsed miserably before the viewers. So they decided to cut off their project temporarily. By that time Shivi meet Sitara again and this time she was in a miserable condition and she accepted Shivi's help to get rid of her huge debt. Inorder to collecting fund to give away her debts Shivi sold the secret book of Shastri to a British officer. Feeling betrayed by his trusted disciple, Shastri commits suicide. This affected Shivi very badly and made him feel so guilty. Shivi decides to fulfil Shastri's incomplete dream of making an aeroplane. But the way before them was very hard and the British government was against them. Can they fulfill their dream? In his Guru's absence who helped them most in their attempt? What were the difficulties faced by them? For an unexpected climax you please watch the film. The movie received mexed reviews more than that of positive ones. The attempt to make such a movie based on the life of Shivakar Bapuji was appreciable. The amalgamation of a love story into the film makes it more attractive and fast moving. We can see some beautiful songs connected with the scenes. But all these were not enough to make a hit. The performance of Mithun Chakraborty is appreciated but others are not up to the standered. The dancer and her alignment with songs makes the audience boring sometimes and it produce a negative effect in the mind of the viewers. Moreover the team failed to recreate the 1800's back ground in many situations and it actually became a love story film rather a historical story of making an aroplane.
