Ek thi Dayan

Ekta Kapoor's Ek thi Dayan has impressed the audience. She has successfully introduced new content in horror. The story is about Bobo (Emraan Hashmi) who is a popular magician and he also has a girl friend named Tamara (Huma Qureshi). Bobo suddenly face changes in his life when he started suffering from illusion. He required psychiatrist treatment. One day, Bobo while going through hypnotism session came to know about the cause of his illusion. It is frightening story of his childhood where he find existence of ominous power Daayan who has ruined his family and promised to come back to destroy him as well. Initally, Bobo decided to ignore and move on in his life. But when his career and love was found in utter strangle, Lisa Dutt (Kalki Koechlin) come in his life. Bobo started thinking that Lisa is the Daayan and the film proceeds further resolving his cause of illusion. After successful films like Shootout at Lokhandwala, Kya Kool Hain Hum, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, The Dirty Picture, Ekta Kapoor has shown brilliant skill churning out horror script with great success. The movie has kept engage the viewers very well under the good direction of Kannan Iyer. Vishal has given melodious music. Emraan has fully justified the character with excellent acting. This time again, Konkona proved that she is great star. Huma has also performed very well and Kalki was looking great in her role. Horror films have its own importance but if the content is great it will definitely satisfy the audience and same thing has happened with 'Ek thi Daayan'. The new variation of Daayan has been introduced which catch hold the audience in cinema house. Second half of the film is bit dull but the thrilling climax captivate audience with great excitement. Ek Thi Daayan is worth to watch new horror.
