Ee Dil Helide Nee Bekkantha is a Knnada romance/drama film directed by TM Srinivasa. Sridhara Sunder produced it under the banner of Sai Krishna Enterprises. Avinesh Diwakar and Sri Sruti appears in lead roles.

The story of the film is about a phone missing and the incidents which took place along with the search. Balu (Avinash) is a youth who is very helpful and always ready to serve anybody in need. Once, while helping a victim of an accident he missed his cell phone and accidently Priya (Sri Sruti) got it. Balu searched it everywhere and find the source of the owner. He demanded to handover the phone. But priya found many reasons for not transferring it and kept it under her custody. Both of them had introduced themselves with different identity and after some time their innocent play become serious and they two fall in love with each other. They decided to marry without parent’s knowledge and the twist of the film starts from there ownwards. Without knowing all these development their parents arranged their marriage. They were in a dilemma and will they be forced to reveal their identity or marry the person preposed by their parents? Rest of the story deals with all these with suspence and excitement.

Thoug a good film it failed in boxoffice due to its poor scripts and narration. Avinash and Sri Sruti performed well and Avinash was incredible in his performance. Truly we can see the rise of as new super star in him. The humour of the film is striking and it is apt with the situation. In one way or other the the same theme was the subject of many films in the past and the similarity can be smelled in this also. Their romance was sweet, innocent and realistic and that is what struck the chords among the audience.
