Dum Laga Ke Haisha
Dum laga ke Haisa (eng: Give In All Your Energy) is a Indian Bollywood romantic comedy film of 2015 directed by Sharat Katariya. Another specialty of the film is that one of the famous Italian composer Andrea Guerra has done its background score. The film stars Ayushmann khurana and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and some old faces in supporting roles. This is story of a father and his son, their struggles to retain their likes and dislikes and the troubles that cause in their life. Prem Prakash Tiwari a delightful lazy youth with no 'high' school backgrounds runs a CD shop near by his local town. He was very poor at studies and father allowed him to run this shop as a source of income for his expenses. He had a strong dream about his marriage and she always desires to marry a slim beauty like Juhi Chawla. But his father was keen to get him married to an educated girl Sandhya (Bhumi Padnekar). Though not bad to look at, she was a overweight girl and Prem didn't like her. But his father insisted on this marriage and at last at an elaborate community-wedding ceremony, Prem and Sandhya get married. As they started life together problems also started. They quarreled for everything and this family members scolded and send him to a Akhara for training. Though Sandya tried love and impress him with her charm and erortic movements, but he didn't heed to them. His friends poke fun of him always and he was very disappointed. Once on the wedding day of his friend, Prem ridiculed her by saying that sleeping with her is like sleeping in hell and He is afraid of her sometimes. Hearing this harassing words Sandya slaped him infrot of his friends and he slaped her back. they decided to apart with each other and court ordered to stay together for another six months. Prem decided to study further and enrolled for the exam. The turning point of the story starts from opening a CD shop by another against their shop. It affected their business and they try to convince the latter about the inconvenience brought to them by opening another shop. The shopkeeper suggested an'impossible' idea, challenging Prem to participate and win the 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha contest. The shopkeeper knew that prem and her wife and leading a separate life and her overweight will not allow him to participate this game. But slowly the ice breaks and they too started to understand each other. They started to love each other and to the surprise of all decided to participate in the contest. They participated the contest but her over weight was a serious problem before them. Can they win the game and avoid the coming of the second shop in the town? Could he lift her easily to the end of the match? The rest of the story tell in detail about the answers of your questions. I can assure one thing that it won't disappoint you and it is a happy ending film. The film received many positive reviews. Ayushmann khurrana's fantastic performance is the main attraction of the show and through this film he proved that comedy scenes are also viable to him. Bhumi Pednekar steals the show with her steller looks and we forgot her overweight at the end when Prem lifts her all the way to home. Their silly talks and quarrels seems very real and connected with some couples of today. But this is actually old wine in a new bottle and the story it tells has no innovative content in it. This is actually the basic story of many films and even from the beginning one can easily predict the end of the film. the Introduction of an Italian composer for back groud scores didn't boosts its success but acted as a plus point of the film. Any way it was a box-office success and collectd heavily in India and abroad. By following family values we can avoid many divorces of today!.
