The film is hard to understand complex and difficult to detect. The main characters are - Abhishek Bachchan as Roshan, Sonam Kapoor as Bittu, Waheeda Rehman as Dadi, Ompuri father of Bittu, Supriya Pathak mother of Bittu, Rishi Kapoor as Ali Uncle, Divya Dutta, Deepak Dobriyal, Atul Kulkarni, Prem Chopra and so on Roshan for the first time visit India. Dadi wishes to live on her motherland in India during last days of the life. Roshan also agrees to stay with his dadi. There he met Bittu, a free-spirited girl who make plans and try to fulfill them. But her father ask her to marry as soon as possible. Ali Uncle and Roshan have good relations. In fact Ali loves Roshan's mother, but never built courage to propose her. Clash between Hindu-Muslim due to some religious problem occurs. Roshan is partial Hindu and partial Muslim wants go back to America but due to sentiments of Dadi and love with Bittu he stay in India. You disappoint if you find typical bollywood naach gaana. It depends how and in which manner you view the film. Rakeysh the director want to convey about independence, powerfully oppose the bad things and fight devil within you. But again director is unable to convey the message strongly. It is surprising why director ask Abhishek to wear monkey mask? Even the director take the help of monkey man (Abhishek) and climb here and there in the film, he is unable to set the morale. A.R Rehman gave great music. Masakali is famous and chart buster. Sonam is excellent and gorgeous. Abhishek also has done good job.
