Darling is a Tamil horror comedy block buster film of 2015. The debutant, Sam Anton is the director of the film. The film is produced by Allu Aravind and K E Gnanavel Raja. As the director, the hero in this film is also a newcomer and who is also the composor of the film. it is none otherthan G V Prakash Kumar. Nikki Galrani is the pair of Prakash kumar in this film. This is actually a remake of the Telugu blockbuster 'Prem Katha Chitram'. Darling articulate the story of four friends and their struggle to withstand the unexpected tragedy comes into their life. Kathir (G V Prakash Kumar), Kumaran and Nisha (Nikki Galrani) decided to end their life in this world because of some failures in their lives. They planned many ways and were unanimous in one thing that their method should be flawless. But before leaving this world they have some last wishes to fulfill and they decided to commit suicide after fulfilling the wish. Kathir wanted to slap the local MLA for his misdeed towards him and Nisha had a varied desire of stealing a new car and want to roam on it sometime. The trio fulfilled their last wishes and escaped from the police by their new car to a resort (farm house) outside the city. They got another friend Athsaya Raj there, who was also cherishing the same dream about suicide. Kumaran and Nisha who love Kathir and knowa well about his love failure decided to postpone their plan of suicide to 3 more days in order to retreat kathir from his decision of suicide. Their plan turns successful and in that interval of three days, all the four get close to each other. Kathir develops a love towards Nisha and he was reluctant to consent it. Nisha was happy and the other two tried to encourage the relation. At the end of the third day kumaran asks Nisha to kiss Kathir and they thought it would help kathir to comeover from suicide. At the same time they urged kathir also to kiss Nisha in return as she wants to experience her first kiss before dying. Karthik, who had desired the same agreed the same with shame and shyness. The twist of the story starts from there. Whenever they tried to kiss or hug each other a ghost enterd into the body of Nisha and prohibit them from doing so. They all were depressed. They forgot about their intention of gathering and followed the ghost to know its past. But it was very hard to rout the ghost and finally kathir himself asked the ghost to reveal her past. What was the past of the Ghost who struggled them too much? Did they abandon their plan of a flawless suicide? Or did the ghost carried them with him to hell? For interesting and thrilling climax you are requested to watch the film in theater. The film received positive reviews more and were became a block buster of this year. It still rus in packed houses all over Tamilnadu. It is really a family entertainer and there is love, comedy and a little horror to satify people from all walks of life. The film competets well with I and Ambala. Some critics says that it is better than its orginal with the selection of appropriate actors. The chemistry of Nikki and Prakash worked well and the composition of the story in a net-work manner contributed much to its success. But the wish of these guys seems to be something crazy and in the end they forgot all about suicide when they face many defeats from the ghost. But that is cinematic logic and the the audience also forgot to ask such questions in the middle of watching a beautiful film, there lies the success.
