Current Theega is a action-romantic-comedy-film in Telugu produced by Manchu Vishnu on 24 frames factory banner. The director of the film is G Nageswara Reddy and casts Manchu manoj, Rahul Preeth and Sunny Leone etc..in lead roles. This film is actually a remake of the super hit Tamil film ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam directed by Ponram. The film was awarded an 'A' certificate by CBFC due to bold item track of Sunny leon with out any cuts.

Shivarama Raju (jagapati Babu) is a good hearted man in Parvathipuram and had three daughters. His young daughter is studying in a college. Shivarama Raju had once a bet with her frind in the same village that 'if any of his 3 daughters fall in love he will either kill them or cut his ears'. He was actually in that much confidence on them and he thought that his daughtes also would not go wrong. Raju (Manchu manij) is a handsome young man in love with an English teacher in the college where kavitha is studying. Raju uses kavitha as a messanger to carryout his letters to the teacher. As things proceed the un expected thing happened. Raju and the messanger herself fall in deep love and it creates problem in their families. The rest of the story is all about what happens in the family of Kavitha when they want to get married.

It was a blockbuster film of 2014 and in B and C class theatres it runs in full packed houses now also. It is really an entertainer with every thing you like as comedy, action and a little bit masala etc..  Sunny Leone and Rakul preet’s steller and glamorous looks helped this film in its grand success.  Manchus too surely were a winner on their hands. It has a message also to pass to the young generation. But some scenes of the ‘teacher' especially in college had to be avoided and should not be imitated . Bearing a few scenes here and there we can say that current theega is a village entertainer.
