Chirodini Tumi Je Amar 2
Chirodini Tumi Je Amar 2 is a Bengali romance/crime drama film directed by Raj mukherjee. It is the remake of the 2012’s super hit Tamil film ‘Vashakku Enn’ directed by Balaji sakhtivel.Arjun Chakrabarty and Urmila Mahanta plays the lead roles in this film. The story revolves round on two plus two students whose misbehavior and cheating each other, later turn out to be serious troubles in the life of many. The story is narrated in flash backs. The young Bhola was from a poor family and his father was forced to leave his own land to local goons because of debt. Bhola migrated to Kolkata and serves in a restaurant. He falls in love with a housemaid . Mean while from near by housing colony one culprit took some ugly photos of his girlfriend and posted in mobiles. The police arrested Bhola for the crime. Though he was innocent the police officer trapped him by accepting bribe. The court sentenced him for years. When his love know this she became furious and throws acid on the police officer’s face and go to jail. But the innocent Bhola was later released and she met his love in jail and assures her that he would wait for her till she come out of jail. It is a film of love versus money or muscle power versus beaurocracy. Money and muscle power can earn anything in this world but it will not last . Truth triumphs at last. The role of Abhi by Arjun Chakrabarty is a commendable one and he himself took the film on his shoulders. Urmila as the housemaid though helpless and timid in the first half, becomes revengeful and get the sympathy of the audience. The film have a strong background support of complicated plot and screenplay. The Producer Soumik Chatterjee has done a better job in this film. One of the major drawback of the film is that the love story is completely overshadowed by the dominance of issues and agendas. The songs has nothing to do with the content of the film. Another defects is that the film is too lengthy and it would have beeb better to finish the story 20 minutes early. But even though more commented that it is a watchable film.
