Clander Girls is a fashion/drama film of bollywood industry released in september 2015. This film is directed by Madhur Bhandakar and he in coordination with Sangeeta Ahir and Bhandakar Entertaiment produced the film. Some actresses casted for this film from different parts of India and this film became a debut for them into the Bollywood. These actresses are Ruhi Singh, Avani Modi, Akansha Puri, Kyra Dutt and Satarupa Pyne. Rohit Roy and Suhel Seth also perform some dominant roles.

The film is said tobe made on the basis of an actual event and the director himself said that 75 percent of the story is bsed on actual incident. The film tells the story of five girls, who have been selected from different parts of India to pose for the country’s most prestigious annual calendar. The organizers of this attempt are a business tycoon Rishabh and his friend Timmy Sen, who is a freelance photographer. This is actually a story about fashion industry, the world of glamour. All these girls are engaged in different jobs and gathered together under Timmy Sen.

The film received negative reviews more and could not make any influence at the box office. It is only a film in name and failed in all fields like direction, scipt writing, cinematography and in presentation. There is not even 25 pecent reality with the real life and it is only a mixture of many facts connected loosely with each other without any logic. The film also conveys a wrong message about women, especially those who are working in the professional field. The film presents women as an instrument for enjoyment and portrays her as a servent for doing the duties for men. A much awaited, but disappointing film of this year.
