Borbaad is a love story film Directed by Raj Chakraborty, and dubt starring by Bonny Sengupta and Ritika Sen in lead roles. It is a re-make of the super hit Tamil movie Polladhavan starring Dhanush. The film is produced by Mahendra soni and Shrikant mohta. The musical director of the film is Aridom cChatterjee. As mentioned it is purely a love stoy. Joy an youngster had only two aspirations in life- to buy a bike and entertain her lady love. He find his own way to obtain the bike and later his aspirations lead to a fatal tragedy that turns his life and make him a fighter against injustice. Raj Chakraborty had made many re-makes before and he knows well how make a local twist in the story. No doubt he is a talented director. But concerning the performance part the lead actors were not up to the expectations and heroine has nothing to do but wait for the hero. The film stands on its own for the action though a little liberty taken with logic and that is common. The songs are the plus points of the film. Thoufh not a failure it gives nothing new than just a re-make.
